Splash for Cash is a fun-filled annual swimathon that raises funds for the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC).

On average, at least one Australian child is identified with hearing impairment everyday.

RIDBC proudly helps children overcome the challenges associated with having impaired hearing or sight by providing education and support. RIDBC celebrates its 150th Anniversary this year.

Make a splash in 2010 and support Australia's oldest charity for children and families affected by deafness or blindness.

Dive in with Susie Maroney, Guy Leech, and James Pittar

Kaye Bailey, Caroline Pemberton, Leisel Jones, and Emily ChooSplash for Cash is a fun-filled swimathon that raises money for the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC). RIDBC is Australia's largest educator of children with sensory impairment.

Simply by getting some sponsors and swimming some laps, you'll have fun and be keeping fit. You'll also be helping deaf and blind children across Australia.

This year marks the 27th Splash for Cash swimathon. The event is to be held on Sunday 11 April 2010 at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre, Homebush from 8am to 3pm. You can also choose to ‘Splash Out’ by swimming on an alternative day and at a different location if needed – just let us know when you register for Splash for Cash.

Record-breaking marathon swimmer Susie Maroney OAM, Australian Iron Man Guy Leech, and blind long-distance swimmer James Pittar are taking the plunge at this year's event, so why not join them and make a splash for RIDBC? And, don't forget, there are also lots of great prizes on offer.
