Matched funding
Why not ask your employer to support your fundraising efforts by matching the funds you raise? Many organisations have a program in place to match the money you raise dollar by dollar. The best people to talk to are in your HR department. Even if a matched funding program doesn’t exist, they may still be willing to consider making a donation to support your efforts for a charitable cause.
RIDBC can supply any information or official documentation you need. Make sure you let us know if your employer agrees to match the money you raise. To express our gratitude to you and your company we will send a letter of thanks and a certificate following the event.
